On November 26th, 2006, the gold leafed crosses that will shine over the grand cathedral and city were blessed during a mid-day ceremony as the final preparatory step before being raised into place. The rector of the Co-Cathedral, the Very Rev. R. Troy Gately, presided over the ceremony and invited parishioners to touch the crosses before they were placed atop the new Co-Cathedral's dome and main entrance. |
