Weekly Tithing

The fulfillment of the mission of the Co-Cathedral depends upon the prayers, sacrifices, participation and financial support of all of its members.Our parish programs and ministries enhance the lives of thousands of people every week. The operation of these ministries require more than a million dollars annually.The financial support of each and every parishioner is vital in fulfilling our mission of being The Heart of Christ in the Heart of Houston.

Sacred Heart Parishioners are asked to offer a sacrifice tithe to the Lord each week in gratitude for blessings received and in commitment to furthering God's work. These funds represent the hard work and love of the people for God and the work of His Church. Our offering should be Purposeful, Proportionate and Prayerful. Each household is asked to tithe between 5% anf 10% of their total income.

How to set up Automatic Giving

Automatic, electronic giving is easy, safe and confidential.  To make your tithe with a direct deposit, contact your bank and set up a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payment of your tithe to the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
